Atlanta Dusk (Joshua Blair) is a 17 year-old queen from Melbourne, Australia. Blair started drag in July of 2014 after watching Willam's Beatdown (A YouTube series, hosted by RuPaul's Drag Race Season 4 contestant; Willam Belli) This changed his opinion of drag, and inspired him to do drag himself.

How does drag make you feel?

I feel like a completely new person! It's this crazy feeling where you're no longer yourself, you transform into a new person! It's like, you get this freedom to do things you couldn't normally do or would be too scared to do.

Who are you inspirations for your drag persona?

Sharon Needles and DuoRaw have always been the two/three of the biggest inspirations to me. I love their looks and style and just how the go about showing who they are!

Who are your three all time favourite Queens?

Sharon Needles, DuoRaw (counting them as one), and Alaska Thunderfuck!

Do you have a specific look you like to go for, or does your look vastly vary?

I have a set look, but I try to be as versatile as I can. My style is always using a lot of colour like pinks and blues and purples! I find it suits my skin tone a lot more than traditional browns and blacks do.

What would be your ultimate ambition you would like to achieve through drag?

Umm to be world famous!! That's the goal, to be known and to tour the world and stuff like that! I just want fans to be honest.

Do you perform in drag? If so, where?

Unfortunately, cos of my age, I can't perform yet. Being 17 makes drag very hard cos everyone expects you to still go to clubs and stuff when that's not always a possibility. A lot of older queens also assume that anyone under the age of 21 is exactly the same with the same style of drag, but with me, it's different. I don't follow what others do, I don't copy anyone, I've always wanted to be original and independent with my drag.

If you could only have 3 makeup products to do your complete drag makeup look for the rest of your life, what would they be?

Oh god what a hard question! I'd say my MAC lip liner in Fashion Boost, tv paint stick from Kryolan and gel eyeliner from NYX!

What is your one favourite piece of fashion or accessory from your wardrobe?

Definitely my floor length navy blue dress that I wore to my school formal. Oh that's right, I went to my school formal in drag!!

Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?

Hopefully in NYC, it's been my dream to move there for a few years now! The drag scene there is so unique and gorgeous in every way!

What's your opinion on the recent increase in popularity of drag, due to things such as RuPaul's

Drag Race?

I think it's great! I see no issue with that at all but I do believe that you shouldn't call yourself a queen unless you are willing to put in the effort and time that it takes to become a drag queen! A lot of girls are using it as an excuse to wear a wig or some eyeliner when drag is so much more than that! It's almost like insulting when people don't take it seriously.

Anything else we should know about your drag persona?

Her names Atlanta Dusk! She's an alien from Neptune, her favourite colour is pink, she's over 6 foot 4 most of the time, she's classy but a little bit of trashy, she loves to wear pink or grey hair the most, her first ever wig was a blonde dreadlock one, she made top 3 in an ongoing online drag competition, she likes to lipsync to fast pop songs, she has a background in dancing and she owns far too much MAC makeup!
