Featured Queen: EllissDee
EllissDee is a 19 year-old queen from Kamas, Utah, who started doing drag in July 2014.

What inspired you to start doing drag?
Well when I was still trying to figure out myself when I was in 8th grade I had discovered Sharon Needles and many more drag queens. But Sharon had stood out the most to me after that I was fascinated with drag I would go around telling my friends that I was gonna be the first "straight" drag queen xD but that all changed when I actually came out to myself and started to actually practice and take drag seriously instead of just talking about it. It was the best decision I've ever made :)
How does drag make you feel?
Confinement, Fierce, Free, and Empowered. There's so much Irbin wouldn't do but when Elliss is free she can get crazy! Haha
Who are you inspirations for your drag persona?
There's so many but here's a few the person I look up to the most is my mom she's such a hard working woman and she supports all my drag and crazy decisions. Some drag queen I look up to are Phi Phi O'hara, Adore Delano, Trixie Mattel, Alyssa Edwards, Sharon Needles, Milk, and many more (:
Who are your three all time favourite Queens?

Do you have a specific look you like to go for, or does your look vastly vary?
My looks vary from beauty to gore.
I can go from beautiful fish to drop dead goregeous ;) I don't want Elliss to be stuck in one certain look or box I like to go outside of the box and go all out sometimes.
What would be your ultimate ambition you would like to achieve through drag?
I don't want to sound super cliché but I want to get on RuPauls Drag Race and go after that crown. 💅🏼 And be a voice for kids who live in small towns who feel like they are alone because of being gay. It's an extremely lonely feeling like you are the only gay person in the town.
Do you perform in drag?
I've only ever performed once and that was last August in my very first pageant.
I performed Primadonna by Marina and The Diamonds. It was so nerve recking but it was a blast! :)
What are some of your favourite songs to perform?
Primadonna by Marina and The Diamonds it made me feel way sassier than I already am and it also makes me feel like a boss ass bitch haha.
If you could only have 3 makeup products to do your complete drag makeup look for the rest of your life, what would they be?
1. Foundation
2. Eyeshadow Pallet
3. Lashes
What is your one favourite piece of fashion or accessory from your wardrobe?
My iron fist Killer Munchies dress and matching cycloburger platforms :)
Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?
Hopefully Americas Next Drag Superstar, haha, or at least trying!
What's your opinion on the recent increase in popularity of drag, due to things such as RuPaul's Drag Race?
I think it's amazing! It's opens a lot of people eye to the world of drag. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't go out and support your local drag queens in clubs!

1. I actually came up with my drag name at the
pizza place I work at, haha.
