Anastasia Heroine is a 20 year old queen from Orlando who started doing drag in April of 2015.

What inspired you to start doing drag?

Seeing all the [RuPaul's Drag Race] girls and how successful they were as well as being able to play with makeup & design some clothes & express myself more.

How does drag make you feel?

It makes me feel like I can do whatever I want. I can say whatever I want & it makes me feel gorgeous. I feel cute as a boy, but as Anastasia I feel beyond gorgeous.

Who are you inspirations for your drag persona?

My inspirations are Alaska & Phi Phi O'Hara, as well as some famous designers such as Alexander McQueen! And of course celebrities such as Beyoncé & Ariana Grande are always inspirations with their music & open mindedness.

Do you have a specific look you like to go for, or does your look vastly vary?

I go for a specific makeup most of the time, you'll always catch me with black lips & generally a smokey eye. It doesn't vary too much. I'm comfortable where I am.

What would be your ultimate ambition you would like to achieve through drag?

Performing at several clubs & even walking fashion shows. I wouldn't want to be a ru-girl.

Do you perform in drag?

Yes I do. I've performed at Pulse & Parliament House.

If you perform, what are some of your favourite songs to perform?

"Judas" by Lady gaga because it's so high energy & Anastasia loves music that can sometimes scare people.

"Cool For the Summer" [by Demi Lovato] just because it gives me a chance to be sexy!

ANY SONG BY BEYONCÉ! I live with all her music & wouldn't mind doing any song of hers!

If you could only have 3 makeup products to do your complete drag makeup look for the rest of your life, what would they be?

Kryolan TV paint stick- Because the coverage with this foundation is amazing!!

Urban Decay Smokey Palette- Since I love smokey, subtle eyes. This is perfect!

Dip eyeliner- This is what I do my wing with as well as my signature black lip!

What is your one favourite piece of fashion or accessory from your wardrobe?

Any of my heels! They're all so gorgeous & they complete every single look! Like the cherry on top!

Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?

Performing on stages around America! But also hopefully with a bachelors degree in Psychology, that's my main goal!

What's your opinion on the recent increase in popularity of drag, due to RuPaul's Drag Race?

I think it's amazing exposure. I will say that people always say "I'm more like this queen or that queen" when describing themselves & I don't like that because we only know how they are on stage or tv... Not personally. So how could you possibly know you're like them? But thanks to RPDR, lots of people know the art form that is drag!
